Player Rating & Scoring
For specific games such as Dota 2, a user’s in-game player rating or MMR will be a factor in determining the amount of $PVP the user can earn. Part of the Earning Mechanics is an adjustment factor based on the user's player rating/MMR. This adjustment factor is used in conjunction with the points accumulated during a game to determine how much $PVP the user can earn. The higher a user's player rating, the larger boost they'll receive from the adjustment factor. This implies that if 2 users accumulate the same number of points during their respective games but one of them has a higher rating, the user with the higher rating will earn more $PVP.
Higher-rated players should earn more $PVP on average as they play against the harder competition.
For games that do not have official player rating systems, there will be no adjustment factor. The amount of $PVP earned will mainly depend on the points accumulated during a game.
